The crossorigin attribute is not being applied to the link element output. Some mechanism should be added to allow end-users to specify the appropriate values for this attribute if they are using link elements.

The 7.x-2.x work was meant to rebuild the module to use entities, but it hasn't gone anywhere. Also, this is a feature request "issue."

What problems are being encountered, and what version of the module is being used?
