Unregister(change state or delete) a registration [#2240557]

Hi!
I want to create a section for unregister, so that the user put his/her email and the system changes the state of the registration to cancelled or delete the registration.
Maybe there is an easy way to do this that doesn't depend on redhen but I'm pretty new in drupal. Thanks in advance.

I can confirm that there doesn't seem to be a way to unregister for normal or anonymous registrant currently. At least it does not work with regular permissions set for a regular user.
