This module is phenomenal. Nearly exactly what I was looking to find. I needed a simple interface for block management where I could limit the blocks by role and limit which blocks could be assigned to which region. The only catch I'm finding is the single page limit. You cannot add a "block" to a region across pages. Is this a core design philosophy? I know it would bring this module closer to the block admin (from one perspective), but it is already several steps ahead of the core block manager that it is not even close to being "duplicate functionality". Thoughts?

Thanks for the kind words! I really want something like this, but haven't thought of a good clean way to add it to the UI. The main goal of this is to give that simple interface to users, and once you add that level it definitely adds complexity to the UI. It's still a work in progress, and I definitely want something like you're talking about, just not completely decided on the best way to go about it. Open to ideas...

The simplest solution would seem to be building off of the existing management overlays. Once you land at admin/build/region_manager/[theme]/[region]?destination=node, offer a selector (tab/dropdown/radio) with options for "Active on home page" and "active across site". Then again, perhaps I'm not understanding the architecture underneath the module?

I'll think about this some more, thanks for posting back. :)

I will (70% sure) sponsor development of this functionality. Please message me if interested.

@q0rban

Has there been any further effort put toward this feature? I am fixing to look at developing a patch but wanted to see if there was already a code set in play.

I haven't done work towards it, but my thoughts about it would be having the ability to check which Contexts the blocks should display in.
