Error when editing view: Call to a member function summary_title() on a non-object in views_plugin_display.inc on line 1085

When attempting to edit an existing view created with 7.x-2.0-beta after installing 7.x-2.x-dev - Fatal error: Call to a member function summary_title() on a non-object in /home/clients/websites/w_rmrkev/public_html/rmrkev/sites/all/modules/views/plugins/views_plugin_display.inc on line 1085

I installed 7.x-2.0-beta3, added First Name and Last Name fields to user profile. Created a User view with a References display that included those fields. I added a User Reference field to the Instructor node type and set it to use my new view. I got an error (not what this issue is about), so I tried to install the dev to see if that would fix the error. Instead, I got the above error when I attempt to edit the view.
