Release notes

Support for Relay

Contributors (3)

Berdir, Michael Grunder, tillkruss

Relay

Relay is an alternative to the default redis php extension that includes a built-in in-memory cache and other performance improvements. Follow the instructions in Readme.Relay.md carefully to ensure it is properly configured. See https://relay.so/ for more information.

Support for Relay is considered experimental, test carefully before using on production, but you may see considerable performance improvements.

Improved documentation

README.md and the 3 corresponding client specific README files have been completely reworked, they include an introduction, documented example configuration and information on more advanced configuration options. Review it to make sure you are fully benefiting from non-default features like compression and container caching.
