Problem/Motivation

It looks to me like this project could use some help. :) There haven't been any commits since Mar 03, 2026 (3 months ago), and before that one there were none since Oct 29, 2025. Before that time, there was a significant refactor on the 3.x branch, but that has only produced an alpha release, leaving the project without a D11-compatible full release with security advisory coverage. Given the recent increase in AI-detected security flaws for Drupal, Symfony, and other open source projects, this seems like a big risk to me.

This module is heavily used on our site, so my team and I have an interest in seeing it well maintained and tested. I also have a well-established history of contributions: I am credited on 17 issues, including authoring the recurring_events_ical submodule, and I have several more MRs currently waiting for review.

Proposed resolution

If this application is accepted, I would focus first on resolving pending issues for the 3.x branch, with the goal of getting us to a D11-compatible full release. I would also like to expand the automated test coverage to make future refactors (like what happened for 3.x) less risky.

I am happy to accept your application. You've always been a very helpful contributor with patches. I've mostly stepped away from the module because after 5 years of solo building and maintaining I was burned out on it. So any help is appreciated. I will add you now.
