Release notes

Same as release v7.x-1.1 but with a fatal error source traced, and fix included.

Fairly significant refactor from 7.x-1.0 that allows the module to set the read more on any entity and any view mode1.

Note to users of rc1 and rc22.

By default the read more link would show by default for non-teaser node view modes that are not excluded. This would be a regression for most users having these show up by default, so the default behavior on non-teaser view modes is to hide. To enable this functionality, visit the display settings for these non-teaser view modes and check the settings AND SAVE. Without the save, no values are stored in the configuration system and the module preemptively hides the view mode.

#1691770: Doesn't works with "CCK Blocks Module" and "nodeID block-view"
#2163959: Fatal error: unsupported operand types after renaming a content type machine name.3

Notes:

  1. The following view modes will be excluded as a read more is meaningless: search index, token and diff view modes
  2. This release also contains some minor administration UI changes post 7.x-1.1-rc2
  3. The source of this issue was traced to renaming a content type that triggered a fatal error, thus the fast release of this new tagged version only 5 hrs after 7.x-1.1.
