It would be really helpful to see how students did on individual questions.

Have you tried to build a report with Views and aggregation? It should be fairly simple and most of the Quiz result data is exposed to views.

I haven't done that but I'm not sure I want to have to build a report for every quiz or quiz question. Nor do I want to ask every instructor to do that. Especially when our other instructors don't have permission to set up Views.

As an instructor myself, I really want to know which questions caused problems for students so I can review them and make sure they're good questions.

Typically you wouldn't build a report for every quiz or question, you'd build a View that would take the Quiz as an argument, and would list all the questions with their responses and average correctness. (So it would work on any Quiz).

Thanks. I'll give that a try.

It would still be nice to have this feature in the Statistics module.

If you can make a nice default view we can certainly include it!

@djdevin Do you think this same report would be possible in Quiz 4.x? I can't seem to get the relationships right in views to be able to start aggregating the results. I would assume I will need to use the vid relationships somehow so I can filter specifically on a particular revision of the particular quiz.

Some of the data is exposed to Views in 4.x, but not as much as 5.x, so you may or may not be able to make a View like that.
