This release includes database schema changes. Run database updates (drush updb or /update.php) immediately after updating the code. Existing selections are preserved and migrated automatically.
Publishing Options 3.1 is a major release focused on improving data integrity, developer experience, and production readiness. The key feature is complete Views integration for the Block submodule, offering field, filter, contextual filter, and relationship handlers for powerful block display and querying. Significant database architecture improvements have also been implemented – unchecked publishing options now delete database records instead of setting a 'selected = 0' flag, resulting in a cleaner, faster, and more semantically correct database.
