Themes allow you to change the look and feel of your Drupal site. You can use themes contributed by others or create your own to share with the community. Contributed themes are not part of any official release and may not have optimized code/functionality for your purposes.
You can also create a sub-theme of an existing theme. A sub-theme inherits a parent theme's resources. Read more about Sub-theme structure and inheritance.
You can also view a full index of themes listing only their titles.
A solid development release of Omega Five for Drupal 7 is currently available. Omega 7.x-5.0-alpha1: This version IS ready for initial testing and sandbox development.
Omega Five for Drupal 8
The Drupal 8 version of Omega Five has been 'stalled' momentarily while work on the Drupal 7 version is wrapped up and brought to a stable release. Now that Drupal 8 has a Beta release, the D8 version of Omega will be updated again soon, and new features added based on updates from the D7 version.
Central base theme for theme development on the Commerce Kickstart distribution, powered by Omega. This theme is meant to be subthemed and become a starting point for your own theme development that is a little more friendly out of the box than Omega by itself.
Bamboo is a responsive Drupal 7 theme designed and developed by Danny Englander (@Danny_Englander). Based on the CSS Skeleton Framework, it allows for a choice of backgrounds, color palettes, sidebars and fonts in the theme's settings page.
Bamboo is aimed at users who want to get a nice looking theme up and running fast, and may not want to take the time to create a sub-theme and fuss about with regions, settings, media queries, and other super technical things. It's also aimed at the casual Drupal user who has some familiarity with building sites. This is designed with this type of user in mind, so it may not be for the developer per se who would most likely use Omega or Zen. This theme also does not require any base theme. I am considering offering some downloadable Features as well, i.e. "Slideshow", "Gallery", etc...
Alphorn is an impressive dark theme, available in 3 options: default, grey and green. Built for flexible uses, three menu options available, flexible layout, different combinations for you to choose. The overall design aim is, not to be complicated, but to be sufficiently enough. It can be your personal homepages, company profiles or anything similar.
Navin is the default theme included with the Open Enterprise distribution. It is a sub-theme of and requires the latest recommended release of Omega 7.x. Navin features an overall clean design and a simplistic approach for displaying a modern site. Like with any theme change, you may be required to reposition blocks according to the additional regions provided by Navin.
Navin is included by default with the releases of Open Enterprise 7.x-1.0-beta7 and above. It is currently in beta stages for test purposes. It is highly recommended that any issues found with Navin be put in this issue queue.
Cloudy has been tested with the release 4.0-beta7 and will not work with older versions.
Cloudy is geared towards the Recruiter distribution and its features: Recruiter cloudy includes tweaks for the theme as exported block classes and alter hook implementations. Recruiter menu positions the required blocks into the navigation region.
Still, you can try the Cloudy theme with any other Drupal installation. You will want to make sure that blocks are positioned within the regions defined by the theme and apply block classes similar to those from Recruiter cloudy.
Although it's not required, this theme is made with the assumption that the site will be using Commerce. This theme will give a nice, clean design to a Commerce Kickstart installation out of the box. (version 1 out of the box, version 2 requires some updates)
Most of the inspiration for this theme is coming from Adaptive Theme, Bartik, and Omega.
Conch is a beautiful Drupal theme developed in vintage style which will become an excellent basis for any Drupal-powered website. The theme maintains three column layout and is very easy to use. It is customizable allowing you to choose between different menu styles and color schemes.
#D7AX - I pledge to make this theme as accessible as it can be. If you find any flaws, please submit an issue. Help me fix them if you can.
Chamfer is a theme developed originally as a customizable, simple, rapid prototyping theme for online courses. It has since evolved into a theme used to present online courses at penn state as well as a number of other regular drupal sites.
Chamfer has been reworked from the ground up for 7.x! It is an HTML5, 960 grid using Omega as a base-theme. It makes use of the color module and has good support for the Tinynav.js module / library.
Features of 7.x
HTML5 / 960 responsive / adaptive theme
Simple, clean user interface
Works well with Tinynav.js
Full color module integration with many default templates
Developer support for modules to define additional color templates
Feature's based delta-block / box placement via Context
This is a theme we developed because we where unsatisfied by other themes like Zen or Omega. Both great themes, but we found out that we had to repeat a lot of steps every time we used on of theme as a base theme. This is a responsive ready theme with lots of features.
The name 42 comes from the great trilogy "The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy" where they say that 42 is the answer for everything. And well, this theme is for us.
ST Flabiol is a free Drupal theme for business and organization purposes. It has a two column layout and three color options. The theme is responsive to mobile devices and availble in both Drupal 6 and Drupal 7.
If you want a theme for your charity purpose, ST Fiddle is particularly suitable. This theme is one of the most downloaded free Drupal themes provided by Symphony Themes. We upload this theme to Drupal.org so it reaches more people.
Circle is a clean html5 base theme for Drupal 7. It takes some great ideas from Mothership, Zen and Omega themes and implements them in one single theme. It has almost no custom templates (so the markup is up to you) and a number of theme functions that are frequently used in real world projects.
