Add functionality and customize your Drupal application with thousands of projects contributed by our amazing community.

1,464 distributions match your search

Distributions provide site features and functions for a specific type of site as a single download containing Drupal core, contributed modules, themes, and pre-defined configuration. They make it possible to quickly set up a complex, use-specific site in fewer steps than if installing and configuring elements individually.

Watercooler

Watercooler is a Drupal distribution focused on tight-knit forum communities. The distribution is being built for Gamers With Jobs, with a focus on the features critical to an online community of its type.

Feature overview

XBugtracker

XBugtracker is a simple development bug tracking and ticketing system. This system is ideal for departmental organizations working with IT and development teams in a group project environment.

Hyperlocal News

This is a news distribution aimed at "hyper-local news" though it works well for nearly any news where location is important. The profile creates new content types, vocabularies (taxonomy), and configures many common modules for you. It also creates an unpublished page as the first piece of content that walks you through the process of how to setup your site and lets you configure things as you see fit.

The initial profile is based on a year's worth of part-time efforts on BakerNow.com a site about a specific neighborhood in Denver.

You need the hyper-local news install profile if:

  1. You want to create a directory of organizations, businesses, or other locations
  2. You want to post events, photos, and articles that relate to those locations
  3. You want to see how to get those gmap and location and views modules to actually work together

Known critical problems

Due to these issues you will need to do manual workarounds.

OpenaidmapClustersDev

This project is based on the Openaidmap sandbox and is in current development to ensure the geocluster_openlayers module works.

News: the first 7.x version is released!

Version 7.x-1.1

The main purpose of this release is to create a first stable release under Drupal 7. It contains some improvements as well, such as solving a memory leak in a long run cron based batch process, and enhancing the indexing speed.

Installation

The toolkit has four parts: the row of modules, a specific theme, a custom Apache Solr, and an Drupal distribution, which includes all necessary modules (XC and 3rd party ones), the current Drupal 7 core (7.22, with the necessary patch), and the theme. Previously the installation was quite complex, now we worked hard to make it easier.

The process is built on "drush", the Drupal command line tool. (see more: http://drupal.org/documentation/modules/drush).

The installation has two parts: a Drupal part, and a Solr part.

The Drupal part

If you have Drush:

$ cd /var/www # the Apache httpd server's webroot directory
$ drush dl xc_installation-7.x-1.1 --drupal-project-rename=xc
$ cd xc

DrupalCorn Camp

Customized COD distribution for the DrupalCorn Camp

VozMob

vozmob_icon.png

VozMob is Drupal customized as a mobile blogging platform. VozMob has been designed to make it easy to post content to Drupal from mobile phones via voice calls, SMS, or MMS. You don't need a smart phone to post blog entries - any phone will do :) VozMob comes with filters that clean up incoming multimedia messages, allows new users to register via SMS, and lets site editors send multimedia content out to registered users' mobile phones. For a full list of features see our Roadmap.

VozMob is a project initially created by the Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA) and the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California (ASC), to help project the voices of immigrant workers by appropriating mobile phones for popular communication. For more info check out VozMob.net.

PLEASE READ: This Installation Profile is in development. It will not currently provide you with a working VozMob instance. If you'd like to help us work on the Installation Profile, please get in touch over at irc://freenode/vozmob :)

The goal of OpenLocal is a distribution that provides key software elements needed by a local community. Initially the focus is on food schemes such as CSA vegboxes and foodhubs.

drupalcoverage

Drupalcoverage generates a PHPUnit coverage report for Drupal 8, deployed to Pagodabox.

You can see it here: http://drupalcoverage.gopagoda.com/ It will be periodically updated when I re-deploy. You can see the deployment date on the bottom right corner.

It's a seriously tiny hack. :-)

PalVN

PalVN is a Drupal distribution for building Drupal based Q&A platforms.

Feeds Test Site

A Drupal installation profile for testing Feeds module.

Installation

Download and install following Drupal installation instructions. When prompted for which profile to install, choose "Feeds Test Site".

Once installed, manually install Simpletest following its setup instructions in INSTALL.txt. Simpletest is available in profiles/feeds_test/modules/simpletest but it is not automatically enabled as it will require you to patch Drupal core before installation. Patch simpletest with #587304-3.

Then, download SimplePie and place simplepie.inc in feeds/libraries.

Go to admin/build/testing, select "Feeds" and run tests.

Developers

If you develop for Feeds, run rebuild-dev.sh in profiles/feeds_test which will rebuild the modules directory, check out the latest Feeds version from CVS and patch Simpletest module (rebuild-dev.sh won't patch Drupal core though, so you still have to take care of that yourself).

For running rebuild-dev.sh, you will need drush >= 3.1 and drush_make >= 2.0-beta7.

Drupal 7

Build Kit

Get started building with Drupal fast.

Build Kit is a basic distribution meant to capture elements that are generally useful and make building Drupal sites and Drupal distributions easier.

Build Kit helps site builders

DrupalTV

Distribution of the DrupalTV platform.

The goal is the Drupal TV project is to create a single destination site (running on Drupal, of course) for all Drupal related video, from all the recorded Drupalcon sessions (which have all been recorded since Drupalcon Boston 2008) to recordings of sessions at all the various regional camps around the world.

Top Modules CMS

This is a test of using the profiler module for creating sub profiles in conjunction with the drupal.org drush make capabilities. Immediately this install profile will not provide any features other than testing, but if this method is successful, this will become an extension to the top modules base installation and provide a more robust CMS installation profile with wysiwyg, etc.

Panopoly + Radix

Sandbox for Panopoly and Radix. See #1987386: Include Radix theme in Panopoly.

To test:

drush make http://is.gd/panopoly panopoly;
cd panopoly;
drush site-install --db-url=mysql://root:root@localhost/panopoly panopoly;
drush vset theme_default radix;

Fusion Distro

This distribution contains recommended modules for building or using a Fusion theme. This is a set of modules that we find ourselves constantly recommending, and has become our own base of modules for building sites. Many of these replace theme settings that were previously found in TNT themes, but have been removed in favour of these modules.

NP Auction

An installation profile to build a simple auction site that links to eBay. Developed for nonprofit fundraisers.

You will still need an eBay account; this project simply provides a all-in-one-place showcase to send people to for your fundraiser, for which you can publish a fundraising URL.

Group auction items by Category (taxonomy). This site is built using Context.

This site was originally developed for Street Roots in Portland, Oregon.

Display Suite profile

DS_logo_groot.png

We're not going to build any new distro's. Use the make file as an example, update where needed.

The Display Suite profile contains all modules which are supported by Display Suite. We don't enable all modules by default in the installation profile, we just wanted to package them all, so you know what's possible.
