Distributions provide site features and functions for a specific type of site as a single download containing Drupal core, contributed modules, themes, and pre-defined configuration. They make it possible to quickly set up a complex, use-specific site in fewer steps than if installing and configuring elements individually.
This is a distribution to demonstrate the following modules:
OpenPublish is a Drupal 7 packaged distribution designed for the online news industry. It is deployed in a variety of media outlets sites including magazines, newspapers, journals, trade publications, broadcast, wire service, multimedia sites and membership publications.
OpenPublish is a collection of multiple modules. We have created a group, http://groups.drupal.org/openpublish, which is probably the best place to ask questions and find answers, unless you are having a specific technical problem directly related to the installation profile. In that case, feel free to open an issue in the issue queue.
Drupal Secured will NOT guarantee that your site does not get hacked. Drupal Secured provides a hardened, 508 compliant, old browser support for IE8 and responsive theme out of the box. It is up to you to maintain security and other provided functionality during the development, deployment and maintenance of your site. Regular audits are required to maintain the features provided. Drupal Secured give you a solid starting point for sites requiring security and 508 compliance.

NodeMaker Status
The NodeMaker suite is currently under heavy, active development, an we expect an alpha release in the next couple of weeks which translates to roughly the middle of August. We'll be pushing for a DrupalCon Munich release announcement!!

Extend Nodequeue functionality by adding a new extra field in node edit form. This way you can add and remove nodes from queues without visiting Nodequeue tab.
A similar project, but I plan to make use of the module with the References dialog

First electronic Public Procurement System (e-PPS) in Drupal. Drupal’s e-PPS is an open, secure, interoperable and re-configurable platform allowing the implementation of a full cycle of electronic public procurement.
Cm is a general-purpose distribution that packages essential enhancements to Drupal's core functionality for site builders, content authors and themers. It is designed to be a web content management solution for a wide variety of sites, and allow you to get up and running quickly with features and configuration that you would otherwise have to implement from scratch.
To make COD better for Drupalcon, Drupalcamps and for generic use. This will take what has been heard from the Drupal community summit and integrate from the start. The architecture will include various social media plugs and allow for integration with Joind.in, Lanyrd and Eventbrite to name a few. Once this has reached a satisfying status and is being used it will be converted hopefully back to COD.
Install Drupal with some common contributed modules.
TAP aims to provide tools to easily create and deliver mobile tour applications in a museum setting. Content creation is performed in the content management system, Drupal. TAP tours are exportable into an intermediate format, TourML, which can then be used as pluggable bundles for mobile applications.
TAP provides a way for non-technical museum staff to assemble a wide range of mobile experiences without needing to know any of the underlying technical details of the Web or mobile technology. In addition to the means for assembling content, TAP in its current state also provides user interfaces for Web-based mobile tours and simplenative applications for an iPod-based tour.
Freely available tools and standards are essential to the museum community to promote the adoption of best practices, to facilitate collaboration, and to encourage the creation of potential avenues for future content sharing. IMA’s initial work with the TAP authoring tool includes support for an early version of the TourML specificationand offers a functional, but incomplete, proof-of-concept, demonstrating how such a system might work.
This is an UNSTABLE project that currently is in an unstable state and should not be used for any purpose for any reason. It should never be considered anonymous or secure.
Paranoid Drupal is specifically targeted to groups in oppressive regimes and those desiring a strong platform for community-building in anonymous and secure situations. It select modules that enhance security, is configured to protect its users anonymity, and provides best practices for installation and deployment methods.
Group deals is a Drupal distribution that gives you a Groupon website out of the box.

Drupal Marketing Automation System
OpenList is a powerful platform for listing or product-centric content. This could be a classified's site, a car dealership, a realtor website, an online store - the possibilities are endless.

A platform for a team to respond to e-mails.
If you are getting lots of e-mails to a single account and want to collaborate on responses to them - this is the Drupal distro for you!
It allows some team members to be "responders", who can write messages but not send them. They must be approved and sent by other team members called "senders". All team members can comment on messages and responses, as well as make changes. Specific messages can be assigned to a specific user.

UberDrupal is an installation profile designed to help you get a Drupal site running Ubercart up as quickly as possible. This installation profile will install the core Ubercart modules automatically, allow you to pre-configure some basic store information, and supports the automatic support and configuration of module packages for features like out of the box product image support. It also configures the Acquia Prosper theme and installs the Administration Menu module when present. Currently, it will provide demonstration catalog categories and products with an instructional front page (that lacks actual instruction) upon installation.
Drop Jobs is a distribution aimed at creating an extensible, fully-functional and robust job search website using Drupal 7.
It is somewhat similar to the Recruiter distribution in concept but has to fundamental architectural differences and aims to go much further as far as feature implementations and offering a more complete out-of-the box experience which more closely resembles current job search portals.
