This profile is no longer supported. Everything in it still works fine, though you will need to update Drupal Core if you wish to use it. I'm going to focus on Drupal 8 issues instead.

INTRODUCTION

Out of the box, Drupal is a content management framework. You can use it to create a content management system. This is daunting for new users to Drupal - so much to look at, work out, configure, learn, add to ... you get the idea.

This profile became too user specific to host on drupal.org .

Please feel free to take and reuse this namespace.

This distribution is meant to give you a simple testing profile with very minimal set up. It is based on the standard profile but comes with 2 additional modules: Administration Menu and Devel. It also disables overlay and toolbar. Dev Testing also enables simpletest out of the box.

How to get a little sprout of your own:

1. Create a stub make file in your website's root directory.

api = 2  
core = 7.x  

projects[] = "drupal"  
projects[sprout][type] = profile

2. Run the drush make command on the stub file. eg. drush make stub.make
3. Run the Drupal installer and select Sprout as the installation profile.

The Knight Foundation helped fund key module development to improve Drupal's mapping and aggregation tools.

This module enables user to manage blocks at node level. User can manage the order of the blocks at each node.
It'll override the default order of blocks view and can be reorder for each node.

Note:- You can not change the region of block at template level.
Reorder only with in the region.

This is a starting distribution to speed up my own workflow.

Waiting for Drupal 8-rc1 to be released before I start this; don't want to have to update things that I already got working in the past, while it is still in alpha/beta stages.

As OpenPublish distribution has no updates for a long time and includes a list of outdated modules and I had no answer from OpenPublish maintainers, I created this repository to have up-to-date OpenPublish distribution.

This is a simple distribution whos entire purpose is to handle the watchdog communications for multiple sites.

Use case

Imagine having a large multi-site setup that you manage such that there are possibly 50 sites in a multisite. You don't want to have to run dblog and/or syslog on all those sites. So, what you do instead is you have a site that manages watchdog for all those sites. The sites in the multi-site can then use hook_watchdog to write their watchdog messages back to this distribution and then you only have 1 site running dblog / syslog but its being populated by all the other sites.

About

This is essentially a quick bundling of defaults for entity watchdog, restws, a few contrib modules and drupal core. This was developed for the CIS distribution so that each multi-site stack in the ELMS Learning network could be troubleshot / monitored independently and at scale.

The aim of this distribution is to provide a way for authors to convert their word documents to ePub via a WYSIWYG editor. The ePub is the standard for electronic publishing.

A distribution which is focussed mainly on giving users a platform where they can find all the relevant/uploaded videos at one place.
