Hi there,

I need to display title, artist, medium, dimensions and price for each picture like what was done in http://www.thurstonroyce.com/largeimageview.cfm?ImageID=102. I have tried to use CCK. However, I think that PROG Gallery does not support CCK because when I edit a picture, I can only type in title and description which are not enough to suit my need.

I would also like to be able to view gallery by artist, medium and dimension.

Would you please kindly give me some advice to suit my needs? If you know any modules that can achieve what I need, please let me know too. Thank you in advance.

Kit

yeah, i`ve overridden image->edit tab with gallery->edit for easier and more gallery-driven feel.. so You just cannot edit it. Maybe It should be reversed? Anyone? Anyone else?

maybe there should be at least a checkbox on admin settings for this?

I am also looking to show Image in different categories.
Say, i post image of Kylie Minogue and Chris Brown on some event in Melbourne.
I am posting the image under Galley of Kylie, but i also want to show it under three terms.

1. Kylie Minogue
2. Chris Brown
3. Melbourne

Can this be done, if yes, how.

Thanks for a cool module for management of Images. I have tried many, but this one seems to suit my needs in the best way.

image can only be shown in one gallery. and this issue is not addressed to this problem.

as of #398336: Prog_gallery not being associated to image_gallery taxonomies, I haven't checked code for that yet. Sorry for making you wait.

I am looking to post an image under different taxonomy terms (which will help in navigation and in terms of SEO) and not under two albums (that will create lot of redundant data).

The thread pointed above is for Galleries. My issue is with specific images.

Thanks for quick response.

i couldn't find a way to reverse the over-riding of image content-type.
Any information on that will be good.

how should it look? which parts should be removed?

Manoloka pointed out these options:
- Leave node image as original
- Add a link in image node to its own gallery
- Load gallery carousel with image node too (as it is now)
(issue #388916: Lightbox2 Slideshow not working)

how about these? Would they (or some of them) solve the problem?

Yes, i think that will be very helpful if we implement the points listed above.

And we will be able to associate taxonomy terms with the nodes.

Will it be possible to add the terms during mass upload ? (it will save lot of time for people using the Prog gallery module)
The current module allows us to add Title and Description for each photo during Mass Upload (which is missing in Acidfree, which we were using earlier) and we love this feature. If Terms could be added during this process, things will become perfect.

Thanks once again.

Yes, I also would like to see these options implemented.

Thanks,

okay, now you can select "Original image node" under "Album View -> Image View -> Image view theme" at prog_gallery settings. When this theme is enabled, original image node is shown.

Also, 2 more checkboxes appear in prog_gallery settings: "Set title to gallery title" and "Alter breadcrumb". These are checked by default. Breadcrumb alteration works as link to gallery.

Also, as I mentioned in one ticked, there's "Replace image edit tab with gallery edit" which is by default checked again, but system administrators can uncheck it. Of course, this again is benefit to advanced users, but can confuse casual users.

I hope this will solve some problems. As usual - changes are uploaded into cvs, but you`ll have to wait till next day till downloadable archive is generated.

What about an original issue title? Is it solved now? Thanks!
