I have not found a way to configure lightbox or prog_gallery to show a slideshow when viewing the gallery.
The UI for the upload process is working as expected, but when I click on the view tab which takes me to the URL:
http://localhost/content/my-first-gallery
I expect to see a slideshow. I have lightbox installed, configured, and working when I click an individual image. Am I missing something?
Great project, would love to see some of the follwing UI issues resolved:
1. "Browse files" text in the Upload Images modal window is off center and really should be replaced with a "Browse..." Button
2. After uploading using swfUpload, the modal window should automatically close
3. The Autosort feature is cool, but there needs to be some additional criteria on what the user is autosorting on. Would be great to have the ability to autosort ascending/descending on name, creation date, file size
Now, if only Drupal Media can step up and create a similar UI interface for Media we'll be all set! :)
Thanks again for the great work.

Jānis Bebrītis CreditAttribution: Jānis Bebrītis commentedlightbox2 takes over gallery in gallery view mode, not images view mode. What it "humanly speaking" means, is you have to follow the breadcrumb link containing gallery name, and then, when a thumbnail grid is viewed, lightbox2 is visible.
UI issues:
1. I cannot actually do much about swfupload flash layout. I`m actually happy that it works :) I remember when I implemented this flash10 fix, I tried to find the best way to display it between browsers ie5/ie6/opera/ff, because it looked different on each other of them. If I tried to fix one, another one looked worse.
2. should it close? because people select one or two files and then a bunch of them. this is discuss`able topic, and could be actually implemented.
3. Small autosort feature redesign is really needed. I`ll do this whenever I`ll have time to solve tickets by coding stuff. There`s a ticket #372652: Is there a way to reorder galleries too? where Manuel also pointed out that such feature is needed.

Thanks for your response.
I am still experiencing the same unexpected behavior as before. I've uploaded a screencast to show you that I do not see the slideshow when viewing the thumbnail grid. Only when I click on an image to I see the lightbox slideshow. Do I have something configured wrong? If you have a minute to review, I'd appreciate it.
http://www.justinlevi.com/prog-gallery.mov (8mb - 1min 9sec long, I apologize for the music in the background. I forgot my screen record software grabs my audio too)
UI Issues:
1. Ahhh, I should have realized that was a swfupload issue. I understand you you can't do anything about the swfupload flash layout.
2. I do really think it should close. In most scenarios I think the user will select all of the images they would like to have in a slideshow at one time. If later they need to add additional images, that's easy enough.
3. I look forward to seeing your update to the autosort feature.

Jānis Bebrītis CreditAttribution: Jānis Bebrītis commentedAah, You`re expecting some kind of lightbox2 auto-initiation, right? I couldn`t find such documented feature, but I guess, a click on first picture could be simulated.
Yesterday I saw some guy uploading pictures - he selected some of them and then browsed again. He was selecting and saw in background that they are uploading and asked "they are already uploading in background? neat!". That moment I thought: "and what If the upload dialog would close when uploads finish while he`s browsing files?"
UPDATE: It seemed like a nice and easy feature to implement anyway, so whenever "Image view theme" is Lightbox2, there`s an option "Lighbox2 autostart" now available :)
