Edit profile results on toggle being switched off

Problem/Motivation

I installed the module on a D9/PHP 8.1 site and was liking what I saw, then upon testing I noticed that if I go in and edit a profile and make it private for a user and save it works but upon submitting the page again the switch gets unset.

Steps to reproduce

Modify a users setting to Private, then with a additional user verify that it did set. Then edit the user again and check the toggle, it is not picking up that the field is set.
