Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
To replicate, create a view of type User. Set it to fields and add the "Privatemsg: Send Privatemsg link" field. There is no option to alter (or, more importantly, hide) the label.
You can get around this by building your own private message link using UID, but it would be cool if this feature worked properly. =)

BerdirStrange stuff :)
I have no idea how that field got lost, it's part of the Drupal 7 port.
Anyway, the patch adds it back and also removes the unnessary dependency stuff and therefore the intendation since these fields are always displayed.
Please test and set it to RTBC if it works as expected!
