the link in the email to login and go to the privatemsg box ie

http://www.site.com.au/user/login?destination=privatemsg

shows an access denied page when you're already logged in

if you're not logged in it works fine

confirmed.. this worked in 4.7, now in 5.x user/login is blocked if already logged in. i'll change the link to privatemsg and have privatemsg redirect to login if your are NOT logged in.
