I want to be able to save PDFs as files. I have checked the checkbox 'Enable caching of generated PDFs' - but the the file does not get created. In sites/default/files the following directories have been created: "print_pdf/print_pdf_dompdf/fonts" - but these are all empty. What could I be missing?

Wasn't working for me either. $node->nid never gets set which means the caching never triggers. Patch attached.
