This recipe is based on the demo site. It creates views, display modes and changes configurations. Some of the functionality includes image widget crop for album cover images, views with photos access settings to only display "Open" galleries.
This recipe grants the "view photo" permission to anonymous users and the necessary permissions for authenticated users to create and manage their own photo albums.
Note that the plupload library needs to be installed to work properly. See the plupload module README file for instructions.
