Roles with the Bypass content access control permission aren't explicitly given access to terms. This patch modifies the addTermPermissionsByRoleIds() method to automatically assign roles with that permission to new terms. It might need to be extended to existing terms.

Thanks for your contribution! This is part of release version 8.x-1.55. I have fixed also a few hardcoded language code assignments.

It would be nice, if you could ship also some automated tests next time. There are already tests. So you can rely on them.
