payment gateway

i am trying to add a payment gateway without ubercart and commerce dependencies.
with simple module, i want to add payment to products which will be one type payment.
whether it is ccavenue or paypal or any other which has good security.
after payment buy now button removed automatically, is it possible?? how to configue which module is best and provide the process for any best payment??
