Summary
Parent node injects two site-wide parent and children page fields on all content types (can be hidden in "Manage Display").
This allows for a clear content hierarchy when creating pages that might not necessarily sit on a menu.
A supporting submodule parent_node_pathauto provides supplementary configuration and tokens for sites that wish to use this relationship to construct path aliases.
