This release includes an update to Drupal 7.30, which is the first successful Panopoly release to include fixes for several critical security vulnerabilities. See the full security advisory here:
Panopoly 1.1 is the first official stable release of Panopoly (1.0 was skipped due to issues on drupal.org that prevented us from being able to make the release)!
Download the latest packaged version of Panopoly from Drupal.org. This will include updated versions of all of Panopoly’s bundled modules, themes, and libraries.
Upgrade your existing site to use the code you just downloaded. Check out these instructions for more information: http://drupal.org/node/1223018
Backup your database and run update.php *TWICE* on your site. This may perform several database updates for Panopoly and its bundled apps and modules.

If you are using Apache Solr, you will need to re-index your content due to schema changes in the recent versions of the module.
