Is it possible to use a field as a condition in the selection criteria? I have select list (Post style) in the article content type, what I'm trying to do is to create variants depending on this field.

This was a significant feature for me in Panels for D7. Not having it in D8 is making Panels less useful than it could be.

The Entity Field Condition module (https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_field_condition) provides such condition.

Any updates on this? I'm using the Groups module and want to set a condition based on a field in that bundle. The module mentioned above only supports the node bundle (it should probably be called "node_field_condition" and not "entity_").
