I'm using the Panopoly Theme and Panels Tabs modules, which include custom styles for panes/regions. When either module's style is applied to the region (Accordion and Tabs, respectively) they work but have problems in Panels IPE. IPE applies the pane style in edit mode ("Customize this page", initIPE), and that breaks the IPE's functionality for those regions (can't drag-and-drop reorder panes, other pane buttons hidden).

Two workarounds are available - 1) skip IPE and go to Panelizer (node/x/panelizer), or 2) disabling the style to reset the form - but neither are ideal.

Is a "toggle styles" button in the IPE toolbar that toggled the style on and off visually possible? Or perhaps a toggle button on top of each region?
