rosemarymann CreditAttribution: rosemarymann commentedThanks for noting this. We're using the media selector which doesn't as yet support this, see #1553094: Alt and Title support for Images
Once that's applied, we'll ensure our content types allow the ALT TEXT option.

nedjo#1553094: Alt and Title support for Images is now fixed, so it's possible to add alt text when editing media files. Work remains on #1307054: Accessibility - Media browser image alt and title fields, so marking this a duplicate of that issue.
