Currently when editing an openlayers map CCK field with a line string on it you can move the points around using the map.

You can also add/remove/edit the points by editing the WKT field.

It would be great if it was possible to remove points from a line using the map instead of the WKT field.

Is this feasible?

I think you can remove points by clicking the point and pressing 'd'. If this isn't the case, you should check OpenLayers.org for an answer, because it's in their territory.
