Hi if I want to move to this from the location module what are the steps? This seems to be the better architecture.

Hi @deverman.

Well, first thing, Location is more about storage than visualization (which is the focus of this module). This module offers a method of storage, but it is not very robust.

It is not actually necessary to migrate data. It's just a matter of getting data from Views. Location 'should' offer Latitude and Longitude to Views which means that you can build OpenLayers Maps with it. If not, there is definitely an issue floating around.
