I can't reproduce this. Which were the module(s) processed by update when this happened?

I installed the Enterprise Distribution. I skipped the bulk install as it was causing problems on a previous install. Enterprise Locations would not install and gave an error. I tried to install the gephp with the link from Enterprise and it would not connect. So i used the link for drupal.
It then ask to update my DB and I have not Admin menus, just 1 page of my test content.

Is this the same as the problem above ?

ecommercium makes is sound like a crashed update, which is either that the modules being updated are broken, or (more likely) some environmental issue, out of memory, mysql timeout, etc. In either case, of course the first thing you will do is to restore from your backup. Check which modules are being updated, and look though your logs to see if you can find any clues about what's wrong with your configuration.

The location issue is already open here: http://drupal.org/node/1576708, and it sounds like you worked around that on your own anyway.

You're saying that the module 'Administration menu' is enabled, and the rights for 'Access administration menu ' are assigned to the logged in user, and the admin menu doesn't display? Just a shot in the dark, but, how much memory is available to your installation?

Same issue here.

Installed OE, was getting various errors, updated to d7.14.

The only difference I can tell between OE and D7 is that the Overlay module doesn't seem to work (before nor after update).
