Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The 7.x-2.x branch of OpenCivic refactors and cleans up code and introduces namespacing of fields and content types to ensure maximum compatibility with content types and fields in other Drupal projects such as http://drupal.org/project/dkan_datasetthat contain their own content types and fields. It also removes a messy post-installation procedure and some demo content and prepopulated taxonomy terms that did not add much real value to the distro but we complicating the installation process.
This release adds a patch to fix a projections authorization bug in the geofield module. It also enables the date_repeat and date_repeat_field modules which are required by the Event feature.
This is the first alpha release of the OpenCivic distro and is therefore presumed to be buggy as hell, even though it was designed by geniuses with brains the size of the national debt. There is no documentation yet other than what you'll find on the project page. Documentation? We don't need no stinkin' documentation!
This is the initial release of OpenCivic on Drupal.org. It includes functionality for the Apps Catalog, Community and Hackathon components of the distro. The Community and Hackathon components are still incomplete, and the other components (Interoperability, Civic Sandboxes, etc.) have not been created yet.
