Payment for event

Is there a recommended module that can be added to an Openchurch installation that will allow online payments for events? I need to gather registration information (this is for our Vacation Bible School program), send that information to an email address, then redirect to Paypal for payment. It would be nice then to return to the church website. The commerce module seems like more than I need. I've looked at Entity Registration, Webform Pay (no longer supported), Pay, and Secure Pages, and Pay. I'm confused about which of these will work with Openchurch Events.
