Sorry if I chose the wrong version. I am not sure what I am using atm. The slideshow on the front page does not respond to display size. I would like to have something like http://drupal.org/project/flexslider which is a better solution imo. There is still the issue of image size but I think it is a better solution than views slideshow.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commented(wrong ticket) - ya I can take a look at making the images responsive maybe. but it would probably have to be part of a full-blown mobile initiative.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedI might use http://drupal.org/project/media_responsive, which Ive tried on other sites for all of my images.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedI made a lot of changes to openchurch_theme tonight to make the mobile look a lot better. I disabled the tablet layouts by default bc the OC layout scales pretty well on ipad without any sort of adjustment. I would rather focus time and energy on the mobile side. I added a responsive.css stylesheet and made a lot of css adjustments. I haven't added a responsive image module/fix yet bc I haven't settled on one that's really good. Right now I am just scaling with css.
I won't be able to test end to end yet until I can get the openchurch dev packager to work but locally in my browser things were looking really good in the mobile layout with my dev changes.

stieglitz CreditAttribution: stieglitz commentedIn my opinion the real issue is a responsive slide show as that throws off everything in the mobile view. Not too familiar with the other modules you mentioned but have heard good things about them. The images scale nicely until the light box kicks in. Ultimately it would be nice to be able to select which things display in the mobile display. I didn't get anything done tonight because I was having trouble getting my dev setup installed.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedWell I made a lot of changes including scaling down the slideshow so I will do some testing against dev tonight now that the dev packager is working. I can also demonstrate on the demo site if it's working.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedYou can review http://demo.openchurchsite.com - it is somewhat better but not super great. I might need a volunteer at some point to do more on the mobile side of things.

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedHad to disable responsive theme for the time being, keep track of this issue: http://drupal.org/node/1541400

drupalninja99 CreditAttribution: drupalninja99 commentedOK got this pushed to dev and it is now referencing a new stable version of the OC theme which I have updated. I will need help testing this as I would like to push this out to 1.11.
Note the slideshow stuff I use is pretty simple, I am going to add a module at some point that does it better but I am keeping it simple for now.
