Hello,
For a reason that eludes me, neither I or my website's users can select and copy text.
Can someone tell me how to change this?

I can confirm that this is an issue. It might have something to do with the 'iPhone add to home screen' feature; I think there is a weird positioning on it that might be overlaying the text and prohibiting selection. Try turning that feature off. I think the setting is somewhere in the 'configure theme' section.

I had already tried that. I have disabled both the Isotope and the IOS stuff.

I can copy text in Firefox now...though I am not sure what makes this possible all of the sudden. Copying text still not possible in Chrome and Explorer 10.
Given the way people share content...this is important.

Could it be Mobile Sliding Menu (mmenu)? For me that was the issue. Here is a solution.

I am using the addToCopy module (https://www.drupal.org/project/addtocopy). And I realize that I am having a similar issue.
