It would be very helpful to have a possibilty to specify a separate layout for edit pages (e.g. node edit).

Or much more general: allow to set pairs of paths with wildcards or regular expressions and layout names like this:

node/*/edit: one-sidebar
my-name/*: my-layout
article/*: article-layout

With this feature views pages and other individual paths could also be configured.
