I'm a bit confused about the functionality of this module, and that it is claimed to be a stable release for 6.x. Based on the fact that you have to grant a user access to the administer menu permission, it seems to mean that you can administer any menu. Also, on any node/add page, you can select any menu in the list.
I followed the documentation provided, and based on that documentation, it just seems to mean that you can edit any menu as long as it's is associated to being an OG Menu.
Also, is this module even being maintained anymore?

jseffel CreditAttribution: jseffel commentedI had the same problem - all menus showed up in the node/add page. The attached patch fixes the problem.

jvieille CreditAttribution: jvieille commentedThis happens to 2.x branch too
This patch is a little bit strange, and does not apply at all on 2.x
Thanks for looking at this

pfrenssenClosing, since the Drupal 6 version of OG Menu is no longer supported. If this issue is still relevant for the currently supported versions (D7 and D8) then feel free to update the version and reopen the issue.
