I really like this module but I have a problem I can't find a way around. When the user is invited or accepts by clicking the link, I need to give the user a role for that group. I've tried user subscribes, admin approves and none get triggered.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how I can do this?

use the module invite for that purpose, that module is deprecated
