Compatibility with the "ACL" module [#384094]

Can anybody please let me know if the "Organic groups" module works together with the "ACL" module (http://drupal.org/project/acl)? I am asking because http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/og states

You cannot use this module with other node access modules.

I am now running OG 6.x-2.0-rc3 together with ACL 6.x-1.0 and Content Access 6.x-1.1 and did not observe an incompatibility yet.
So I guess this statement is very outdated and should just be removed from the module description intro.

You can use multiple access control modules if you understand consequences: one module may allow access while another module denies, and access will be still granted. You can change that behavior using Module Grants module.
