I have created a new content type in my site but when I attempt to create a node of that content type I receive this error:

EntityMetadataWrapperException: Unknown data property og_group_ref__og_membership. in EntityStructureWrapper->getPropertyInfo() (line 335 of /var/www/apps/www2/release/git/public/sites/all/modules/entity/includes/entity.wrapper.inc).

Using Entity 7.x-1.3 and OG 7.x-2.4

Can you please elaborate more about your settings? added any OG fields? other modules running? etc.

I have the same problem.
When I disable message OG example and message example, it disappears.
so maybe problem is somewhere there

A comment, in my case this error message is displayed when is saved a node with OG. The cause is because at the content type, the 'Manage Display' has been modified to hide the fileds related with OG. If fields are displayed again the error disappear (OG 7.x-2.7 and entity api 7.x-1.5).
