When using module Scheduler to schedule a node to be published in the future this node is mentioned every notification run as being new content till the scheduler sets the node to published.
Specially in holiday periods can be annoying when an author schedules content.

On the main Notify settings page, untick "Administrators shall be notified about unpublished content of tracked types."

Does this resolve the issue?

Or is doesn't that work if Scheduler is also installed?

You are right. This setting was ticked.
I will reply when there are new scheduled items.
