This module is a really simple extension to Nodewords: D6 Meta Tags which makes it possible to add <meta name="title" ... /> tags to pages.

What is the <meta name="title" ... /> tag good for?

That's a really good question. Almost all SEO-related articles I could find suggest that you should use <title></title> instead:

http://sem-and-seo.com/seo-strategies/seo/meta-title-vs-title-tag/
http://www.webmarketingnow.com/tips/meta-title.html

Some (possibly outdated) articles tell us to use this tag. One of my friends requested this functionality, so I've decided to make this little module.

Please file an issue for improving documentation if you find any good usage for this tag, I would be happy to include the information here.

Usage

Install and enable this module along with Nodewords. On every place where you can edit meta tags, a new "title" field will appear.

Requirements

This module requires and has been tested with Nodewords 6.x-1.13.
