It is not clear what the support is reporting.
May you explain it better? Reading it I get that you visualize a book children page, the HTML ouput is the one for the book children page. That is what I would expect; if you are visualizing a children page, then the output is the children page.
Also, you don't explain why you think this is related to this module.
