Hi,
I would like my home page and nodes to use "INDEX, FOLLOW". On all other pages, I would like to use "NOINDEX, FOLLOW". For example, on my site I do not want http://www.silverjaguar.com/?page=1 through http://www.silverjaguar.com/?page=33 to be indexed. Since all of those pages have the same title, search engines mark my site down a bit.
It would be cool to have features similar to the Page Specific Visibility Settings for blocks.

apadernoFor the home page (aka, front page) that is not a problem, as there is already a setting specific for the front page.
For the nodes, if they have some a specific path, you can use the other module that changes the meta tags basing on the path of the page.

apadernoAs there is already a module that allows to set meta tags basing on the path of the page, I am setting this report as won't fix.

apadernoIf that is the case, then this report must be re-open.

Just to make clear why you set this to active again, right?

apadernoUhmmm... I read a report, and replied to a different one.
Actually I was thinking to make this report more generic. I think the settings page for the global meta tags can be more generic, and allow the creation of different rules for different pages.
apadernoThis would also avoid to have a different page for the front page meta tags; checking if the page is the front page would be one of the conditions to check.
apadernoI am changing the referring version to the one that will implement this feature, which cannot be rc1 for the way new code is committed in CVS repository.

I like this. This definitely can be combined with Meta tags by Path feature, which becomes merely another type of rule.

apadernoI set #442510: Be able to override View meta tags per Display as duplicate of this report.
apadernoI set #480148: Replace the support for Views with a more generic support for Drupal pages as duplicate of this report.
apadernoI set #216686: Views/Panels support in nodewords as duplicate of this report; the support for Panels will be replaced from a generic support for page URLs.

apadernoI have already added two pages for the "access denied error", and the "page not found" error pages.
apadernoI also added a setting page for the offline site meta tags.
apadernoI also added the pages for Views, and Panels, and other pages.
apadernoI am adding the tag I forgot to add before.
