I know Node Forum comes with 2 blocks for "Active Topics" and "New Topics". Active Topics is close to what I'm looking for: a list of N forum topics recently created/updated/commented-on in reverse chronological order. But I'd like to present more information in table format, such as the number of comments, and the Last Post ("... minutes ago, by [user]") information. The Views module (I assume that's where it is) has a bunch of "fields" and "sorts" related to Drupal's built-in forums and comments that allowed me to create such a table using the Views module. I have not seen similar Views fields/sorts for Node Forum and Node Comment.
1) Is there a nodeforum/nodecomment-specific module with "Views" fields to do what I'm looking for?
2) Is there a nodeforum/nodecomment-specific module that does this without "Views"?
If the answer to both 1 and 2 is "no", then I'd like to submit this as a feature request. Node Forum already has Views as a dependency, so I see adding Views "fields" and "sort criteria" and whatever else makes sense as just a matter of coding by the experts.

michelleHave a look at the "Active Topics" view in Advanced Forum 2.x. Sounds like what you need. If you don't use AF, you'll need to change the style to something else but the rest of the view should work.

fersman4 commentedIf I am reading this right, Advanced Forum relies upon the default Drupal forums and comments, modules which are incompatible with Node Forum and Node Comments. Turning a comment into a node has allowed me to do a lot more nifty things with comments that can't be done with the default comment system (for example, using CCK and ImageField as an interface to allow users to upload pictures directly into comments). But Advanced Forum does look a lot more complete with respect to configuration and compatibility with existing modules, so I guess I'll take a look into it. In the meantime I'm still wondering if there is something available that will work with nodeforum/nodecomment.
