Porting module to d8

I am working on the Drupal 8 version of this module, will post the files here shortly.

I'd like to see the module using the third party settings collection on the node type config, rather than having config of our own, as per:

I have updated the code on github: https://github.com/deepak-k/node_buttons_edit using the ThirdPartySetting.

Please review the same and let me know is it good to go?

I have reviewed and tested this module with Drupal core 8.6.x also and it seems to be working smoothly.
Attaching couple of screenshots as well for the confirmation.

Tagging so that I'll get around to doing a detailed review.
At the moment it looks like we're missing some tests for this functionality?

For the time being can we publish this module without tests as it has been around 6 months for this D8 port ?

Oh... wanted this.. no longer on git hub though :(
