Im currently reverting most of my field collections to the Multifield, as I like the idea of not having to create a new entity for each compound field. - However I like the ability to export each field in its own column in a xls-sheet, when using the Views Data Export module.
With the Multifield, all field-values are grouped into one cell in the spreadsheet.

Is there any future considerations about this, or any thoughts on, how to create this export 'by hand' ?
