To replicate the issue, Please do the following
1. Go to Structure -> Membership Plans
2. Click add to create new plan
3. In that new plan creation page, under period settings, try to check/uncheck "Recurring Subscription" and "Fixed Date" checkboxes. It will always be checked.

Due to this issue, it is always forced to use fixed date for expiration and no longer can remove the saved recurring option if needed.

Hi ganesan,

Have tried to reproduce the issue you have had. The system has worked correctly for myself, can check/uncheck the recurring subscription and fixed date. Ran a test to see if the problem occurred after selecting either, then saving the plan and reopening to edit the plan. System still allowed myself to check and unchecked the options.

Can you supply any more details related to the issue? details of the membership plan you created, version of drupal.

I was about to apply the patch, but I see no reply to the question by Clivem. Don't know what to do then...
