I am still working with Drupal 6 ; I am under the impression that the 'home page' that the user can enter during comment submission is not checked.
I have at least one spam per day that gets through - the text itself could be considered ok by an automated system, but clearly the homepage is not.

Sorry for the late reply.

I believe this was caused by both a server-side as well as client-side bug, which are both fixed in the meantime.

In general, please always make sure to keep your Mollom module up to date when new versions are released.
