Expected:
When a user checks the permission to only allow a user to create a specific model they should be able to (and none others)
Actual Behaviour:
Users can only create a specific model if they also have the permission: "Administer models"
To recreate:
1) Install the model and create multiple model types
2) Set permissions for a user to only add/edit one particular model type
3) As the selected user attempt to add the selected model -> Fail
4) Give the user permission to admin models
5) Repeat step 3 -> User can add selected model -> User can also add other models -> Fail
I have corrected this and attached (I also renamed 'model' to 'spotlight' - this was to suit the models use)

scottrigby@Saru try adding a patch with your changes so it's possible to review ;)

anybody@Paul Rowell could you please create a patch or at least paste the lines you changed so that others can create a patch without downloading a possibly dangerous .zip file?
That would help a lot :)

I'll try and have a look at this next week, I've not used model since 2012 (since then I've been using BEANs).
