As the module seems abandoned, I'm mostly filing this so others might find the workaround.

One might get Access denied errors when using the block to switch back and forth between desktop and mobile.

Adding mt/* to pages not to automatically redirect on fixes it.

I am closing this issue, as it's for a Drupal version no longer supported.
